KING'S MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO LEBANON VALLEY 6-1

ANNVILLE -- Matt Sauerbeer scored two goals and Lee Lindemuth added a goal and an assist to lead host Lebanon Valley Conference to a 6-1 victory over King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference non-league contest Wednesday in Annville.

Lebanon Valley took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Scott Montgomery with 4:45 into the contest. The Monarchs (1-1) tied the game at 1-1 when Greg Castellani scored unassisted at 18:18. The Flying Dutchmen would take the lead at 19:46 when Grant Walter struck net off a Brian Sapienza to give Lebanon Valley a 2-1 half-time lead.

The Flying Dutchmen would then rattle off four unanswered goals in the first 32:00 of the second half to put the game away.

King's returns to action Saturday and Sunday in the Vasser College Tournament.
