CAMERON AUDETTE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK,
SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's soccer team stand-out
senior forward Cameron Audette was named Middle Atlantic Freedom
Conference Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
The reigning Freedom
Conference “Player of the Year” has another big week as he led King’s to
a 2-0 mark. Audette posted 11 points on five goals and one assist. In a
1-0 road win over Baptist Bible, he scored the only goal of the game to
give the Monarchs the victory. In a 9-0 rout over D’Youville, he scored
four goals and added an assist in the contest. During the week he
scored two goals playing the attack midfield position, then added three
while playing center forward.
On
the season, Audette has scored nine times, and gained three assists. He
has totaled 21 points as he continues to dominate out of conference
play.
The
Monarchs continue their four game road trip this week, traveling to
Marywood University. Game time is set for 4:00pm. The following
Saturday, King's takes on Gwynedd-Mercy College, again on the road. That
game time is 12:00pm. The Monarchs finally return to Betzlers Fields
next Tuesday, September 16 when they take on the vistors from SUNY New-Paltz
at 4:00pm.
