CAMERON AUDETTE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK,
SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's soccer team stand-out senior forward Cameron Audette was named Middle Atlantic Freedom Conference Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

The reigning Freedom Conference “Player of the Year” has another big week as he led King’s to a 2-0 mark. Audette posted 11 points on five goals and one assist.  In a 1-0 road win over Baptist Bible, he scored the only goal of the game to give the Monarchs the victory. In a 9-0 rout over D’Youville, he scored four goals and added an assist in the contest.  During the week he scored two goals playing the attack midfield position, then added three while playing center forward.

On the season, Audette has scored nine times, and gained three assists. He has totaled 21 points as he continues to dominate out of conference play.

The Monarchs continue their four game road trip this week, traveling to Marywood University. Game time is set for 4:00pm. The following Saturday, King's takes on Gwynedd-Mercy College, again on the road. That game time is 12:00pm. The Monarchs finally return to Betzlers Fields next Tuesday, September 16 when they take on the vistors from SUNY New-Paltz at 4:00pm.
