KING'S MEN'S SOCCER DEFEATS BAPTIST BIBLE, 1-0
WILKES-BARRE -- Cameron Audette scored what proved to be the
game-winning goal just 4:47 into the contest as the King's College men's
soccer team posted a 1-0 victory over host Baptist Bible College
Wednesday in Clarks Summit.
With the win King's improved to 3-0 on the year while Audette scored his
fifth goal in three games.
King's scored the deciding goal when Audette successfully converted a
pass from Brian McElroy into a goal just 4:38 into the contest.
The Monarchs would dominate the remainder of the game, out shooting the
defenders 37-4, but were unable to finish on several scoring chances.
Monarch goalie Tim Kelly made one save on the day.
King's will take to the road on Saturday to face D'Youville College at
4:00 p.m. in Buffalo, NY
