King's trailed 7-2 at halftime but battled back to close to within 7-6 midway with 5:05 left in the third period thanks to a pair of goals by T.J. Lyon and scores by Ryan Lachner and Curtis Reinard. DeSales, however, would erupt for four goals in a 2:14 span to build a 11-6 lead entering the final period.
