KING'S LACROSSE FALLS TO ELIZABETHTOWN, 9-5
ELIZABETHTOWN-- The King's College men's lacrosse team put together a
gritty effort against one of the top teams in the Middle Atlantic
Conference, but fell 9-5 to host Elizabethtown College Wednesday in
Elizabethtown.
With the win, Elizabethtown improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the MAC
while KIng's slipped to 1-6 and 1-2.
The Blue Jays held a slim 7-5 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but
managed to score two goals while keeping the Monarchs off the board
during the final 15:00 of play.
John Both led King's with two goals and one assist while Chris Landry
added two goals. Gary Morgan contributed one goal while Curtis Reinard
chipped in with an assist.
Monarch sophomore goalie Tim Cassi was sensational with 24 saves on the
day.
Aaron Weber and Frankie Puzzangara netted three goals each for the Blue
Jays.
King's returned to action Saturday when the Monarchs host DeSales
University at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
