KING'S LACROSSE FALLS TO KEUKA, 11-1

GENEVA, NY -- Steve LaRue scored four goals to power Keuka College to an 1-1 victory over King's College in a non-conference men's lacrosse game played at Hobart College, Geneva, NY.

With the win, Keuka improved to 1-0 while the Monarchs slipped to 1-2.

Keuka scored two goal sin each of the first two periods to take a 4-0 half-time lead. The Stom would add two more goal sin the third period, building a 6-0 lead on a LaRue score  with 5:49 left in the period. 

The Monarchs would get on the scoreboard when T.J. Lyon scored unassisted with 0:45 remaining in the third stanza to cut the lead to 6-1. 

The Storm, however would put the goal away with five fourth-quarter goals.

Freshman Andrew Bartle made 26 saves in goal for the Monarchs.

King's is next slated to host Drew University Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
