KING'S MEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS ALVERNIA, 7-5

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's lacrosse team got back on the winning track as the Monarchs posted a 7-5 road victory over Alvernia College Wednesday in Reading.

With the win, King's evened its record at 4-4 while snapping a three-game losing streak.

Chris Landry led the way for the Monarchs with two goals and two assists while John Matusiewicz followed with two goals and one assist. Ed Skawinski netted one goal and one assist while Gary Morgan and Frank Sanchelli contributed one goal each. Ryan Thomas chipped with an assist while John McKenna and Steve Matusiewicz shared the goaltending duties with each posting four saves.

King's returns to action Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Messiah College.
