KING'S MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO DESALES, 8-7

CENTER VALLEY -- The King's College men's lacrosse team fell behind 4-1 after the first period and saw its rally fall short as the Monarchs fell 8-7 to host DeSales University Saturday in Center Valley.

With the loss, the Monarchs fell to 0-10 overall and 0-6 in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

John Matusiewicz led King's with four goals while Ryan Thomas added a pair. John McGuire scored one goal while Chris Reilly distributed two assists. Steve Matusiewicz made 17 saves in goal.

Patrick Stringer and Brian Kuttler paced DeSales (2-9, 2-5 MAC) with two goals each.

King's will next travel to Madison, NJ to face FDU-Florham at 3:30 p.m.
