KING'S MEN'S LACROSSE DROPS 11-10 DECISION TO
SUSQUEHANNA
SELINSGROVE -- Scott Hodgson scorer what proved to
be the game-winning goal with 8:06 remaining as the Susquehanna University
men's lacrosse team posted an 11-10 victory over King's College in a
Middle Atlantic Conference matchup Thursday in Selinsgrove.
With the win, Susquehanna improved to 6-2 overall
and 5-1 in the MAC while King's fell to 0-8 and 0-4.
With the game tied at 10-10, Hodgson scored
unassisted to put the Crusaders on top. Neither team would score as
Susquehanna held on to the victory.
John Matusiewicz led King's with three goals and an
assist while Chris Landry added two goals and three assists. John McGuire
had two goals with an assist while Ryan Thomas scored one goal with one
assist. Gary Morgan and Chris Ives both chipped in with one goal for the
Monarchs. King's goalie Steve Matusiewicz made six saves.
The Monarchs will be idle until Wednesday when
King's hosts Drew at 4:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
