KING'S MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO ELIZABETHTOWN

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's lacrosse team dropped a hard-fought 8-5 decision to Elizabethtown College Saturday at Betzler Fields.

With the loss, the Monarchs fell to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Blue Jays improved to 5-2 and 3-0 in the MAC.

Ryan Thomas led King's with two goals while Chris Reilly added one goal and one assist. John McGuire and Chris Landry chipped in with one goal each for the Monarchs. King's goalie Steve Matusiewicz made 20 saves on the day.

Al Churchman led Elizabethtown with two goals and four assists.

King's will travel to Selinsgrove to face Susquehanna University Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
