KING'S MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO DESALES 10-9

WILKES-BARRE -- Ryan Thomas scored four goals and distributed three assists but it wasn't enough as the King's College men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-9 decision to DeSales University Sunday at Betzler Fields.

John Matusiewicz added two goals for King's while Ed Skawinski, Carlo Ciotoli, and Chris Reilly added one goal each. Ciotoli also chipped in with an assist.

DeSales was paced by Brian Bottini with three goals while Brian Cutler and Chris Laveglia netted two goals each.

Steve Matusiewicz made 12 saves in goal for the Monarchs, who fell to 2-8 overall and 0-7 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. DeSales improved to 2-7 and 1-4 in conference play.
