KING'S LACROSSE FALLS TO ELIZABETHTOWN IN SEASON FINALE

WILKES-BARRE -- Ryan McCafferty and Aaron Weber each had five goals in leading Elizabethtown to a 17-9 win over host King's College on Saturday afternoon at Betzler Fields.

With the loss, King's season ends with a 4-9 overall record, and a 0-7 mark in conference play while Elizabethtown improves to 6-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

Jon Day added three goals for the Blue Jays while Kurt Deschner tallied two goals and two assists.

Chris Landry led King's with four goals and one assist. John Doran, Curtis Reinard, Keith Hoerburger, Rusty Booth and Phil Gakos each added a goal in the loss.

Monarch goalie Tim Cassi had 22 saves in the loss.
