KING'S LACROSSE FALLS SHORT AGAINST WIDENER
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-8
decision against Widener
University Saturday afternoon at Betzler Fields.
With the loss,
King's slips to 4-7 overall and 0-5 in the MAC. Widener improves to 7-6 and
4-1 in league play.
Luke Weber led the way for the Pride with five goals and two assists.
Brian Stromko added two goals on eight shots.
Chris Landry topped King's
with four goals on eight shots. John Doran, Ryan Lachner, Rusty Booth
and T.J. Lyon each added goals for the Monarchs. Goalie Andrew Bartle
had eight saves in net.
King's will return to action
Wednesday when the Monarchs travel to FDU-Florham for a game at 7:00 pm.
