KING'S LACROSSE DOMINATES ALVERNIA
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's lacrosse team raced out to an
11-1 halftime lead before coasting to a 22-2 victory over visiting
Alvernia College Monday at Betzler Fields.
With the win, King's improved to 4-6 on the year while Alvernia slipped
to 1-10.
Curtis Reinard led the way for King's with four goals and five assists
while Brendan Novotny followed with four goals and two assists. Chris
Landry and John Doran tallied two goals and two assists, while Alan Matusiewicz,
Rusty Booth, and Evan Seward netted two goals each.
Zach Druhm, T.J. Lyon, Ryan Lachner, Keith Hoerburger, and
Sean Rulon scored one goal apiece for the Monarchs.
Andrew Bartle made three saves in goal
Tom Novak scored both goals for Alvernia, one in the first quarter and
the second in the fourth period.
