KING'S LACROSSE DROPS 12-10 VERDICT TO KEUKA

ITHACA, NY  -- The King's men's lacrosse team fell to 2-2 on the year as the Monarchs dropped a 12-10 verdict to Keuka College in a rain-soaked contest Wednesday at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.

King's trailed 10-4 at the half but fought back in the third quarter, outscoring Keuka 5-4 to close to within 11-8. In the fourth quarter, the Monarchs cut the lead to 11-10, but Keuka pushed across an insurance goal with 1:10 remaining in the contest.

Curtis Reinard paced the Monarchs with one goal and four assists while T.J. Lyon, Ryan Lachner, and Kris Skewes netted two goals apiece. Rusty Booth and Brendan Novotny scored one goal each while Dan Carducci chipped in with one goal and one assist.

King's will be idle until March 29 when the Monarchs host SUNY-Maritime at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
