KING'S LACROSSE RALLIES PAST MORAVIAN
BETHLEHEM -- The King's College men's lacrosse team overcame a 6-0
deficit as the Monarchs battled back to post a 10-8 victory over host
Moravian College Saturday in Bethlehem.
With the win, King's improved to 2-1 on the year while Moravian slipped
to 3-3.
Moravian would scored first six goals of the game, three each in the
first and second quarters, before King's finally struck net to trail 6-1
at the half.
In the third quarter, the Monarchs outscored the Greyhounds 6-6 to forge
a 7-7 tie going into the final quarter of play.
Rust Booth tallied three goals to lead King's while T.J. Lyon and Daniel
Carducci netted two goals each. Kris Skews dished out four assists while
John Doran, Ryan Lachner, and Chris Landry netted one goal each. Curtis
Reinard chipped in with one assist while Tim Cassi made 16 saves in
goal.
King's will next face Keuka College Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Cornell
University in Ithaca, NY
