KING'S GOLFERS AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
SHAWNEE on the DELAWARE, PA
-- The King's College golf team
stood in third place after the first day of the MAC Freedom Conference Championships
being held Saturday and
Sunday at the Par-72 Shawnee Country Club, Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa.
King's posted a team score of 492 and trailed
first-place University of Scranton (473) and second-place FDU-Florham
(474) after the first round of 27 holes.
Leading King's was freshman Mike Wagner who was tied for sixth place
after firing a 117 for the 27-hole round.
Freshman Frank Schiel was 12th with a 123 while senior Sean Apanovich
stood 13th at 125. Sophomore Mike Kane was19th with a 127 while senior
Brian Rogish was 23rd at 130.
