KING'S GOLFERS DEFEAT FDU-FLORHAM
WILKES-BARRE, PA -- The King's Golf team took down FDU 305-331at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. The Monarch's low scorer was Mike Wagner who shot a one-over par 73 to help King's to the win.All four of the Monarchs' scorers kept their scores under 80. Mike Kane shot a respectable 79 in the top flight of the day. In the second slot, Frank Schiel carded a 75 while Brian Kerstetter in the third hole scored a solid 75. Wagner had the low score of the day for all golfers.

The golf team will be back for their final contest of the 2008 fall season Wednesday September 1 when the Monarchs take on cross town rival Scranton. Match time is set for 1:00 pm and will take place at Scranton Municipal Golf Course.
