KING'S GOLFERS WIN TRI-MEET VERSUS SCRANTON, MISERICORDIA

MOOSIC -- Mike Wagner captured medalist honors, shooting a five-over par 76 to lead the King's College golf team to a tri-meet sweep of the University of Scranton and Misericordia University Wednesday at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

Wagner helped the Monarchs to a team score of 327, six strokes better than Scranton (333) and 15 strokes over Misericordia (342).

King's Brian Kerstetter finished second overall with a 79 while three players tied for third with respective scores of 80. Also for King's, Mike Kane was seventh overall with an 83 while Frank Schiel carded an 89 while Eric Weiscarger posted a 95 on the 6,339-yard course.

King's will next compete in the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational Tournament Sunday and Monday at Glenmaura.
