SUSQUEHANNA, GETTYSBURG TO MEET FOR 3RD PLACE
WILKES-BARRE -- Erik Fromm scored 22 points, 11 in
each half to lead Gettysburg College to a 68-61 victory over Susquehanna
University in the consolation game of the Ramada Inn/Monarch Classic
Wednesday at King's College.
With the win, Gettysburg improved to 4-6 while Susquehanna fell to 2-7.
Fromm was 9-of-13 from the field and also posted a team-high nine
rebounds with four assists. Mike Beck added 13 points and three assists
while Renato Tambellini followed with 11 points. Mike Spadafora chipped
in with seven points, five assists, and two steals.
Susquehanna was led by Matt Effler with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting
and six rebounds. Matt McDevitt contributed 11 points while Sean Ulicny
added 10. Brad Okonak chipped in with nine points and a game-high 10
rebounds.
Spadafora and Efler were both named to the all-tournament team.
