KING'S MEN USE BIG SECOND HALF TO DOWN DELAWARE VALLEY

DOYLESTOWN --  The King's College men's basketball team erased a four-point halftime deficit by outscoring host Delaware Valley 42-15 in the second half as the Monarchs posted a 68-45 Freedom Conference victory Saturday in Doylestown,

With the win, King's improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play while Delaware Valley fell to 2-3 and 0-2.

Marty O'Hora led King's with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists, while Brian Horgan netted 18 points with six boards to pace the Monarch attack.

Jim Welsh scored nine points while Jamie Cousart added eight. Vince Scalzo chipped in with seven  and five rebounds. King's limited to Delaware Valley to just three second half baskets and held a 43-29 rebounding advantage for the game.

King's travels to face Elizabethtown College Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
