KING'S DEFEATS SALISBURY 68-57 TO GO 2-0 AT  THE WILKES-BARRE CHALLENGE

WILKES-BARRE -- King's and Salisbury play at 1:00 p.m. in the Wilkes University Marts Center.

The King's College men's basketball team improved to 11-2 on the year with a 68-57 victory over Salisbury University in the second day of the Wilkes-Barre Challenge in the Marts Center at Wilkes University.

Brian Horgan topped the Monarchs with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Davee Marks followed with 14 points and seven boards. Dannie Evans aided the Monarch attack with 13 points  and three assists.  

Horgan and Marks were both named to the all-tournament team.

Salisbury (3-8) was led by Sean Whittaker and Justin Rice with 1 points each.

King's will next host Lycoming Wednesday at 8:00 p.. in a big MAC Freedom Conference matchup
