MEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATS TCNJ 79-55 IN TOURNEY OPENER
WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's College men's
basketball team opened up a 40-20 halftime lead and cruised to a
79-55 victory over The College of New Jersey in the opening round of
the Lycoming College Tip-off Tournament Friday in Williamsport.
Jamie Cousart led the Monarchs with 16 points, five rebounds and
four assists while Ryan Nenstiel added 16 points and three boards.
Freshman Kevin Conroy came off the bench to add 11 points on 5-of-7
shooting.
John Soboleski contributed nine points and four rebounds Vince
Scalzo chipped in with three points and six rebounds.
Jeff Warner led TCNJ with 14 points while Jeff Molinelli added 10.
King's will face Penn State Altoona for the tournament title
Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Altoona upset Lycoming 71-65 in overtime in
the first game of the day.
