KING'S BASEBALL SWEEPS DICKINSON

CARLISLE -- The King's College baseball team improved its record to 18-13-1 as the Monarchs posted a doubleheader sweep of Dickinson College in a non-conference meeting Sunday in Carlisle.

King's won the first game 7-2 before taking the nightcap 12-2.

In the opener, Rob Medlock tossed a complete-game two-hitter, while striking out six batters.  Offensively, Jason Seibert was 3-for-4 with a triple and scored two runs.  Charlie Jenkins was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI while Josh Faust was also 2-for-4 with two RBI.  Nick Sorino and Bill Drazdowski also added a pair of hits for the Monarchs.

In the nightcap, Kyle Ehlis pitched a complete-game five-hitter for the Monarchs.  Offensively, King's was led by Seibert who was 4-for-5 with a double and four runs scored. Josh Faust was 3-for-5 with six RBI while Jenkins was 3-for-5 with two RBI.  Sorino and Drazdowski chipped in with two hits apiece.

King's will next play  host to Muhlenberg Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
