KING'S BASEBALL FALLS TO DIVISION I
LEHIGH, 4-0
BETHLEHEM -- The King's College
baseball team dropped a 4-0 decision to NCAA Division I Lehigh University
Wednesday at Goodman Field, Bethlehem.
With the loss, King's fell to 10-7-1
while Lehigh improved to 16-13.
The Monarchs performed admirably and
held the Mountainhawks to a 0-0 tie after six inning. Lehigh would push
across a run in the seventh, then added three more in the right, keyed by
a two-run home run from Forrest Doane.
King's managed just three hits in the
contest as Vince Budzyn, Jason Seibert, and Adam Tkaczyk all singled for
the Monarchs.
King's hurler Robb Medlock pitched a
solid game, allowing eight hits and all four runs in seven and one-third
innings of work.
The Monarchs will host Oneonta State
University today at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
