KING'S BASEBALL FALLS TO FDU-MADISON 12-0
MADISON, NJ -- Host FDU-Madison jumped out of the gates with an eight-run
first inning and posted a 12-0 victory over King's College in an MAC
Freedom conference contest Tuesday in Madison, NJ.
Thomas Calistri led the Devils with a 3-for-5 showing with three RBI.
Shawn Eickhorst was 2-for-4 with 2-for-2 and scored a pair of runs. Matt
Steitz was 2-for-5 two RBI. FDU pitcher David Aronowitz picked up
the win in allowing just one hit in seven innings of work while striking
out seven batters.
King's only managed three hits off three different FDU pitchers. Jean-Paul
Lucke, Chris Rispoli, and Mike Ranieri all had singles for King's which
fell to 5-14-1 overall and 1-8 in MAC Freedom play.
The Monarchs will next travel to face Scranton Friday at 3:00 p.m. before
hosting the Royals in a 1:00 p.m. Saturday doubleheader at Betzler Fields.
