KRASZEWSKI NAMED TO ALL-FREEDOM CONFERENCE SQUAD

-- King's College baseball standout Gracjan Kraszewski has been
named to the 2008 All-Freedom Conference squad as a first-team
selection.
Kraszewski, a Dallas High School product, recently concluded an
outstanding sophomore year at King's where he played primarily in
left field. Kraszewski started 38-of-39 games for the Monarchs and
posted an impressive .443 (62-140) batting average with 14 doubles,
two home runs, 27 RBI, and scored 27 runs. He also posted a .586
slugging percentage, ranking first among Monarch regulars, while
stealing six-of-seven bases on the year. His 62 base hits tied the
Monarchs all-time single-season record.
Kraszewski, who transferred to King's prior to
the 2007 season from Division I Seton Hall University, finished the
year ranked fourth in the Freedom Conference in batting average and
tied for third in base hits. He also ranked fourth in doubles.
He ended the season with a 21-game hitting streak and his safely in
while registering at least one base hit in 34 of the 39 games he
played in. He posted a season-high four bas hits against
Manhattanville on April 25.
