KING'S BASEBALL DOWNS WARTBURG,

ORLANDO, FLA -- The King's College
baseball team upped its mark to 3-4 on the year as the Monarchs
posted a 7-6 victory over Wartburg College Friday at the Orlando
Invitational in Orlando, Fla. The teams were slated to play a
double-header but the second game was canceled due to mandatory
scheduling curfew.
Phil Moskowitz paced King's with three hits, two runs, and two RBI.
Matt Unger added two hits and two runs while Jon Venarchick also
added two hits with an RBI. Pat McGlynn registered a base hit and
RBI while J.R. Graver also drove home a run. Ryan Knowles had a base
hit and scored one run while Matt Colgan tallied one run. Gracjan
Kraszewski chipped in with a single.
John McNichol was the winning pitcher in relief of Dan Jenkins.
McNichol pitched one inning of scoreless relief and struck out one
batter. Ryan Yankowski earned the save with one and two-thirds of
scoreless and hitless relief.
