SCRANTON SWIMMERS TOP KING'S
BOX SCORE
WILKES-BARRE -- The University of Scranton downed host
King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference swim meet Wednesday in
Scandlon Gymnasium.
The Scranton women won by a score of 80-29 while the men triumphed by a
62-37 count.
Andrew Kulp won the 100-butterfly for the Monarchs with a time of 56.50,
then placed second in the 100-freestyle at 56.06, before finishing third in
the 100-backstroke with a 1:14.40. Steve Kneidl was second in the
50-freestyle with a time of 2:37.59.
Christy Rossowski was fourth in the 200-freestyle at
2:17.67 and in the 100-backstroke with a 1:09.90. Sue Prentice was fourth in
the 50-freestyle with a 31.25 and also in the 100-freestyle at 1:09.26.
Susie Hughes was fourth in the 100-butterfly at 1:16.59.
