KING'S SWIMMERS SPLIT WITH ARCADIA

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's swimming team posted its second
victory of the season with a 106-61 victory over visiting Arcadia Saturday
in Scandlon Gymnasium. The Lady Monarchs, meanwhile, dropped a 91-25 verdict
to DeSales.
Matt Herr captured the 200-individual medley with a time of 2:16.06 and the
200-breaststroke at 2:32.55. David McBride posted personal best times in
winning the 1000-freestyle with a 12:44.82 and the 500-freestyle at 6:14.37.
Evan Maclusky won the 200-freestyle with a 2:00.37 and the 100-freestyle at
55:24. Wes Hutchins won the 200-backstroke at 2:23.92
Amanda Liotine won the 200-freestyle with a 2:32.25 while Carly DeGrezia
captured the 100-freestyle with a 1:02.94.
King's will return to the pool on Saturday with a trip to Juniata College,
Huntingdon.
