LYCOMING SWIMMERS DEFEAT KING'S
WILLIAMSPORT -- The host Lycoming College men's and
women's swim teams posted a pair of Middle Atlantic Conference wins over
visiting King's College Thursday in Lamade Gym.
The Lycoming men were victorious by a score of 51-100,
while the women gained a 102-49 win.
In the men's meet for King's, Brandon Stanchock was
second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.56 and was third in the 100
freestyle at 54.13. Matt Herr was second in the 100 breast stroke with a
1:07.39 while placing third in the 400 individual medley at 5:05.54. Evan
Maclusky was third in the 100 back stroke at 1:03.85 while Gary Morrison was
third in the 50 freestyle with a 26.02.
For the King's women, Sarah Futrovsky was second in
the 100 back stroke with a time of 1:12.65 while standing fourth in the 100
breast stroke with a 1:30.81. Regina Schmerfeld was third in the 200
freestyle at 2:41.22 while Amanda Booth was fourth in the 100 freestyle at
1:04.67.
