KING'S MEN'S SWIMMERS DOWN FDU, WOMEN FALL
MADISON, NJ -- The King's College men's swim team won
its third meet of the year as the Monarchs defeated FDU-Florham 86-51. With
the win the Monarchs improved to 3-6.
Matt Herr led the way by winning the 200 individual
medley with a time of 2:19 37. Chris Morris captured the 50 freestyle with a
25.41. Justin Krzanowski won the 100 butterfly at 1:09.03 while Justin
Maclusky captured the 100 back stroke in 1:08.15. David McBride won the 500
freestyle with a 6:33.21. King's team of Herr, Maclusky, Morris, and
Krzanowski won the 200 medley relay with a 1:56.84.
In the women's meet, Marie Spaar led King's by winning
the 100 back stroke with a time of 1:20.59 while finishing second in the 200
individual medley at 2:59.46.
King's will next host the Middle Atlantic Conference
Championships Friday through Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.
