KING'S SWIMMERS SPLIT WITH ARCADIA
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's swimming team
won its second meet of he year with a 79-56 victory over Arcadia University.
The Lady Monarch swim squad fell to Arcadia, 89-61.
The Monarch men, who improved to 2-6, were led by Evan
Maclusky who won the 100 freestyle with a 54.39 and the 100 back stroke with
a 1:13.40. Matt Herr won the 200 individual medley with a 1:10.82 while
Chris Morris captured the 50 freestyle at 25.50. King's team of Maclusky,
Herr, Morris, and Sheldon Broedel won the 200 medley relay with a 1:56.50.
On the women's side, Stephanie Khalafalla won the 50
freestyle at 30.84. Marie Spaar captured the 100 back stroke with a 1:13.40,
while Karen Golle won the 500 freestyle at 6:44.42. King's team of Clair,
Spaar, Golle, and Khalafalla won the 200 freestyle relay with a 2:14.71.
King's will return to action Saturday at Juniata
College.
