KING'S SWIMMERS FALL TO DREW, SUSQUEHANNA
MADISON, NJ -- The King's College men's and women's
swim teams both dropped a pair meets Saturday to Susquehanna University and
host Drew University in Madison, NJ.
The men fell to Drew 57-24 and Susquehanna 70-25 to
slip to 1-5 on the year. The Lady Monarchs dropped a 56-23 verdict to Drew
and a 84-7 decision to Susquehanna to fall to 0-9.
In the men's meet against Drew, Matt Herr won the 100
breast stroke with a time of 1:08.32 while David McBride captured the 500
freestyle with a 6:38.72. Against Susquehanna, Evan Maclusky won the 400
individual medley with a 5:10.47 and the 100 backstroke at 1:05.44. Herr's
time in the 100 breast stroke was also good enough for first against
Susquehanna.
For the women, Stephanie Khalafalla won the 100 breast
stroke against Drew with a time of 1:33.46.
King's swimmers will host Lycoming College Wednesday
at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
