KING'S SWIMMERS SWEEP OCEAN

The King's College swim teams ended the first semester of competition on a
high note with a sweep of Ocean County College Saturday in Scandlon
Gymnasium.
The men won by a score of 118-108 while the Lady Monarchs were victorious by
a score of 117-87. With the sweep the women improved to 4-4 while the
men upped their mark to 3-4.
Maggie Nealer led the way with three victories for King's, winning the
1000-freestyle with a time of 13:32.66; the 50-freestyle at 28.30; and the
500-freestyle with a 6:03.08
Sara Schmader also won three events, capturing the 200 freestyle with a time
of 2:12.04; the 100-freestyle at 1:01.31; and the 200 individual medley at
2:32.35.
Becca Smith won the 100-backstroke at 1:14.17 while Jess Thomas captured the
200-breaststroke with a time of 2:58.12. Susie Hughes was victorious in the
100-butterfly with a time of 1:17.83
For the men, Eric Stencovage won three events, including the
100-breaststroke with a time of 1:05.36; the 50-freestyle at 25.00; and the
200-breaststroke with a 2:33.31.
Brian Seslar won the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:04.91 and the
500-freestyle at 5:44.02. Patrick Seslar won the 100-freestyle with a time
of 55.13.
