KING'S WOMEN, MEN BOTH 4TH AT NEPA CLASSIC
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's women's and men's cross country teams both
finished fourth in the inaugural NEPA Classic Friday at Hollenback Golf
Course.
Misericordia University won the women's race with 41 points while
Scranton and Marywood were second and third respectively with 43 and 65
points. King's was fourth with 71 points.
On the men's side, Scranton won the team title with 36 points while Penn
College of Technology and Misericordia were second and third with 52 and
53 points. King's followed with 141 points.
Tori Potaski led King's with a second place finish time of 14:48 while
Kelley Weidwald was 12th at 15:58. Heather Elphick was 18th at 16:26
while Molley Brown was 24th at 16:42.
For the men, Jeff Cort was 18th with a time of 21:04 while Brandon
Sweeney finished 22nd at 21:24. Patrick Sammon was 32nd at 21:59 while
Ryan Glenn came in 38th at 22:26.
