KING'S CROSS COUNTRY AT DESALES INVITATIONAL
CENTER VALLEY -- The King's men's cross country finished 10th of 23
teams while the women's squad was 20th of 23 squads at the DeSales
Invitational Saturday in Center Valley.
On a muddy track, King's Ed Kopec was sixth in the 8,000-meter event
with a time of 27:45.20. teammate Derek Call was 88th with a time of
30:09.65, while Pat Lyons was 89th with a 30:10.04. Justin Winters was
94th at 30:17.18; Matt Hall finished 142nd at 31:36.76; Matt Washo was
166th at 32:52.45; while Bob Hare rounded out the top King's runners at
188th with a 34:29.94.
For the women, King's Kelley Wiedwald was 50th in the 6,000-meter run
with a 27:36.51 while Marie DeMuro finished 121st at 29:59.38. Shauna
Crabb was 178th at 32:39.32; Kristina Curcio was 224th at 35:49.80;
while Sarah Rabeau finished 244th at 42:04.89.
