KING'S MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY THIRD AT BLOOMSBURG
INVITATIONAL
BLOOMSBURG -- The King's College cross country team
posted a strong third place at the Bloomsburg University invitational
Tournament Saturday in Bloomsburg.
King's senior Chuck Dinofrio placed third in the
8,000-meter event with a time of 27:09. Justin Winter followed in 21st
place at 29:21 while Ed Kopec was 27th at 24:44. Matt Washo ran a 30:03 to
finish 29th while Patrick Lyons' 30:08 was good enough for 30th. Other
King's runners included Derek Call (30:24), Matt Hall (30:27), David
Krupski (32:43), David Davis (34:46), and James Saur (35:31).
On the women's side, King's was paced by Maria
DeMuro who was 15th with a 26:01 in the 6000K run. Allison Taroli was 42nd
at 29:36 while Mary Beth Clark was 45th at 30:54. Jessica Schillawiski
rounded out the women with a 47th place tome of 31:46.
King's will compete at the DeSales Invitational on
Saturday in Center Valley.
