KING'S CROSS COUNTRY FIFTH IN MEN'S EVENT AT
CABRINI
RADNOR -- The King's College men's cross country
team placed fifth in the 17-team Cabrini College Invitational Saturday in
Radnor.
The finish was impressive for the Monarchs who competed without their top
four runners.
Matt Washo was top Monarch, finishing 17th with a 29:39 in the 8,000-meter
race. Other King's runners included Derek Call (39:06), James Saur
((30:24), Matt Hall (30:36), Dave Krupski (33:21), and David Davis
(33:25).
The women's team was led by Maria DeMuro
who was 10th with a 21:35 in the 6,000-meter race. Other top finishers
included Allison Taroli (24:22) and Mary Beth Clark (25:46).
King's will next compete in the Bloomsburg University Husky Invitational
on Saturday.
