DINOFRIO PACES KING'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM AT NCAA REGIONALS

SALISBURY, MD -- Sophomore Chuck Dinofrio placed 38th in a field of 241 runners to pace the King's College men's cross country team at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships Saturday at Salisbury University.

King's, which had all five of its entrants run for personal-best times, finished 27th in the 34-team event.

Dinofrio ran a career-best time of 26:03.86 to top all Monarch runners. Freshman Patrick Lyons was 175th with a 28:58.51 to finish second among King's runners. Junior Jim Britt ran a 30:09.72 to finish 202nd. Sophomore James Saur was 212th with a 30:53.94 while senior Parker Palermo ran a 31:33.69 to finish 218th.
