KING'S DINOFRIO PLACES 15TH AT MAC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
LANCASTER -- Sophomore Chuck Dinofrio placed 15th to lead the King's
College cross country teams at the Middle Atlantic Conference
Championships at Lancaster County Central Park.
Dinofrio ran a 27:36 to pace the Monarchs and earn second-team MAC
all-star status for the second straight season. Other King's runners
included Larry Catalioto (51st) at 29:20, Patrick Lyons (90th) at 31:10,
Bill Somerville (94th) with a 31:23, Jim Britt (96th) at 31:30, James Saur
(106th) with a 32:16, Jeremy Ackerman (111th) at 33:02, and Parker Palermo
(112th) with a 33:28. As a team, King's placed 10th in the 13-team field.
The women were led by Kim Bray who was 67th with a 26:56. Other
King's runners included Mary Blair Long (83rd) at 28:18, Mary Beth Clark
(104th) with a 31:35, Bobbi Leib (107th) at 31:46, and Liz Hildebrandt
(115th) with a 33:47.
