KING'S MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 22ND AT DESALES INVITATIONAL

CENTER VALLEY -- Chuck Dinofrio placed 36th in a field of 275 runners as the King's College men;'s cross country team finished 22nd of 40 teams at the DeSales University Invitational Saturday in Center Valley. Dinofrio finished the 8,000 meter course in 27:19.18 to pace the Monarchs.

Larry Catalioto was 136th at 29:29.36 while Bill Somerville finished 158th for King's at 30:06.38. Patrick Lyons ran 21:21.95 to finish 194th; Jeremy

Ackerman was 214th at 32:23.75; Parker Palermo finished 223rd with a 32:43.35; while James Saur was 224th with a 32:44.45.

The King's women's team only fielded four runners and did not score as a team. Kim Bray was the top finisher at 118th place in a field of 278 runners with 21:51.66. Mary Beth Clark was 232nd at 25:46.80; Bobbi Leib finished 266th at 28:25.15; while Liz Hildebrandt was 271st at 28:57.17.

King's will next compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships November 2 at Elizabethtown College
