KING’S CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS FINISH 12TH, 17TH, AT LEB-VALLEY INVITATIONAL 

ANNVILLE – The King’s College men’s cross country team finished 12th of 20 teams, while the women were 17th of 20 teams at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational Saturday in Annville. 

In the field of 196 men on a 7,800-meter course, King’s sophomore Chuck Dinofrio placed 41st with a time of 28:00.07. Freshman Larry Catalioto was 82nd with a 29:30.31. Jim Britt finished 30:38.53; Patrick Lyons was 31:51.97; while James Sauer ran 137th with a 32:19.59. Parker Palermo finished 141st at 32:37.22, while Jeremy Ackerman was 157th with a 34:26.31. 

Competing in a field of 183 women runners in the 5,835-meter course, Mary Blair Long was the top King’s finisher at 96th place, running a 27:14. Kim Bray followed at 101st with a 27:44.99; Mary Beth Clarke ran at 131st with a 30:07.20; while Bobbi Leib was 165th with a 334:36.82. Melia Barletta was 175th at 36:20.30 and Liz Hildebrandt finished 176th with a 36:41.45. 

King’s will next compete at the Elizabethtown College Invitational on Saturday.
