WRKC...
Welcome to the official website of WRKC, Radio King's College. WRKC
is an on-campus, non-profit, educational broadcast facility run
by King's College students and alumni. The WRKC radio station is
broadcasted from the campus of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Broadcasting on FM Frequency 88.5 and transmitting
at 440 watts of power, WRKC transmits to Wilkes-Barre, Pittston
and into the Mountain Top area. The station operates 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week, with all programming being done by King's students
and alumni.
WRKC makes new music available to the public. WRKC
programming includes alternative, hardcore, punk, emo, Christian
country, blues, gospel, electronic, dancehall, reggae, Triple A,
alt country and rpm.
This station offers a chance for students
to get involved and express their ideas. WRKC offers students an
opportunity and experience in broadcasting to the community. The
station offers students a chance to be a DJ, a sportscaster or news
reporter. If you are interested, you must be a King's College student
