Welcome to the Susquehanna Valley Local Section of the American Chemical Society! Located in northeastern Pennsylvania, our section includes such schools as Bloomsburg University, Bucknell University, King's College, Lycoming College, Marywood University, Misericordia University, Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Penn State Hazelton, University of Scranton, Wilkes University, and Susquehanna University. Through our Website, you can access information about our officers, members, and monthly section meetings. Regional
MARM 2012
The 43rd Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM 2012) of
the American Chemical Society will be held from Thursday, May 31 to
Saturday, June 2, 2012. Hosted by the Maryland Section of the
American Chemical Society (ACS MD), the meeting will take place on the campus of the
University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in Baltimore, MD. For more information,

High School Chemistry Exam
The annual exam will be given Saturday, March 31 this year.
The high scorers on this exam will be invited, along with their
teacher and parents/guardians, to the annual Awards Banquet on May
9. See the

district.
Electronic Monthly Newsletter
The Susquehanna Valley Local Section requests that you consider receiving our monthly newsletter by email. You will receive your newletter at least a few days prior to the normal arrival rate for the hard-copy version. Also, if you are willing to forego the hardcopy altogehter you will save our secretary time and our Local Section will save the expenses of photocopying and postage.
